Lead Packers help organize the volunteer groups to make the packing event go smoothly and efficiently. We plan to have 1 - 3 Lead Packers at every event, depending on the size of the event. If you would like to have a regular volunteer opportunity, this might be the perfect job for you. This is an easy commitment, either during the week or on the weekends. Packing events are usually for 2 hours. Your extra commitment would be arriving 30 minutes prior to the event and staying 15-30 minutes after the event. Our packing events are typically on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a few odd days here and there. You can volunteer once or twice a month (or more). This is also a great way to become more involved (if you want to, no pressure) at FITB. You could be a volunteer driver, Holiday Backpack Team Member, or part of one of our committees throughout the year.
